Multi-Media Internship Job Posting

An exciting opportunity for an Atlanta University Center Student with experience in videography in the Atlanta area. We are looking for someone to work with our Marketing Director to record and create high quality videos for our website, social media management and more! We are located on the AUC campus, offer a flexible work schedule, and a competitive compensation. Connecting with our community through video on all digital platforms is essential to the growth of our practices. We need someone to take the lead and ensure all of our live/pre-recorded broadcasting are running efficiently, as well as B-roll, social media content & more!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Marketing Director to create, edit and film video content.

  • Preparing and operating sound/video equipment during digital programs.

  • Running video/audio equipment and checking that everything is properly connected.

  • Evaluating video/audio equipment for repair and maintenance.

  • Provide on-call technical assistance to presenters and attendees during programs

  • Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video.

  • Assist in developing marketing strategies and campaign development.

  • Creating visuals/reels in Canva for sharing in email, social media, etc. as needed.

  • Create original film concepts and content.

  • Create storyboards and other pre-production materials.

  • Preparing background film or “B” rolls as well as live feed.

  • Must be a current student in the Atlanta University Center

  • Must be in good academic standing

Preferences may be given to those who possess the following:

  • Portfolio of work evidencing professional-level abilities in line with experience.

  • Experience live streaming events, recording audio and video lectures, or comparable experience.

  • Experience creating instructional videos, audio, infographics, data visualizations, and/or interactive multimedia.

  • Experience working with teams in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Design Tools

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products.

  • Ability and desire to learn quickly about new technology


Additional Information: 

Compensation: Starting at $11.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Hours per week: 15 hours per week (Flexible, some hours can be worked remotely)

Location: On the AUC Campus (The Center for Racial Healing’s building is a three-minute walk located next to Clark Atlanta University’s Student Center. GPS it for yourself! 807 Student Movement Blvd. Atlanta, GA)
