About Young Authors Publishing by Leah Hernandez and Company
We believe that all kids are story worthy!
Young Authors Publishing is a not-for-profit children’s book publisher that exists to share the stories of children, many who live in undeserved communities. Our young authors participate in an eight-week Experience Program where they are taught how to write their children’s books, as well as the fundamentals of financial literacy. When you purchase a book from Young Authors Publishing, you’re helping a child write a new story. Royalties from our books are deposited into a secured savings account for each young author which is made available to them when they graduate from high school. Every effort is made to sell at least one thousand books for each child so that their savings at graduation will be $10,000. The cost of publishing each child is a thousand dollars and all are invited to consider investing in the life of a young child in this manner.
